Operation Write Home Blog Hop

My cards for the Operation Write Home Blog Hop which starts TODAY! I was inspired by the Valentine's Day theme so I went with that. I'm a scrapper and do not normally make cards but I'm going to start - this is my first attempt. I think it is such a great thing to be a part of and I'm absolutely thrilled to be a small part of it. Check out the website for more information & join in!
http://operationwritehome.org and their blog http://www.owhhomefrontblog.org/

And then make sure to check out Christine's blog

http://scraphappychristinescorner.blogspot.com/. She is a scrapper like me and has a very cool and inspiring blog.

THANKS TO OUR TROOPS FOR ALL THEY DO!

Here are some of my cards......pretty simple - just the way I like it;)

Oh Lori, these are terrific cards--they are going to bring a lot of cheer to a hero far from home (and to someone they love)!

This is such a heartening venture. Here in Canada, the painting guild I belong to also creates and sends cards for our troops. They range from painted, thru to stamped and embossed cards in every style imaginable and are received with great appreciation. It's such a little thing we can do for our heroes!

Enjoyed your music - especially Banana Pancakes. You have it marked unknown. Thought you might like to know the artist is Jack Johnson.

For your first cards, you did really well! My style is very simple too, which draws me to your cards. The mad about you card is probably my favorite with the sweet butterfly accent. :)
